? Gift Giving

There are many ways to give to Wellesley: annual giving, gifts to endowment, designated gifts, and estate planning gifts. As the Chairs of Annual Giving for the Class of 1958, our main focus is on encouraging our classmates to make contributions to the Annual Giving Fund, which supports financial aid and helps Wellesley meet day to day needs in advancing its core educational mission.

The final figures for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011 are in.  We send many thanks to all of you who support our wonderful college.  Here are the statistics for this past year and the two years before.

Annual Giving gifts $108,985 $120,288
All Other Gifts $156,705 $129,180
Total $265,690 $249,468 $306,821

The main emphasis of this year's fund was participation, so we are pleased by our results.  The college told us to expect a gradual decrease from our fabulous numbers of 2007-2008  (our 50th Reunion Year).

There are only two years until our next reunion!  Keep up your enthusiasm and support.
