Sister List

Susan Klee

Soon after our 40th Reunion, the Wellesley College Class of 1958 established a listserv, quickly dubbed the Sister List because of the camaraderie it engendered.  You can join by e-mailing me (details below) and telling me of your intention.  I relay your name and e-mail address to a computer somewhere in Michigan and voila. You are a Sister Lister.  You can write a book review or a query about New York restaurants or a comment about retirement to about 130 interested, engaged classmates as easily as exchanging e-mail with your family.
The List is rich, varied and organic - constantly changing and sustaining.  Some days you will find a number of posts in your e-mail box, some days very few.

We have haiku and limerick contests; we write reviews of plays, books and movies.  We exchange important information.  We grieve, rejoice, debate, gasp in astonishment and groan with pleasure. We often, quite often, smile in recognition of shared thoughts and experiences.

Mini-reunions from Massachusetts to California have been launched from the Sister List. Online discussions inspire private conversations and face-to-face, real meetings, renewing old friendships and creating new ones.

Our site is easy, useful and fun.  There has never been a time when someone's question, profound or trivial, has gone unanswered.

Irresistible? E-mail me as List Administrator at skleeberk@aol.com about participation in 58's "infinite reunion."  And if you read your e-mail from The List and don't write to it, you are nonetheless a welcome and appreciated member of the community.
