Browser and OS recommendations

This site is tested with, and works well in a variety of browsers, but within the Internet Explorer and Firefox lines, we recommend three versions based on current vendor support and new features:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
(PC users, XP or later)		 Version 7 or 8
Mozilla Fire Fox (Mac or PC) Version 3

If you run Internet Explorer version 8 and you see a big error message when you try to view each of our pages (and similar behavior on many other websites), rest assured that Microsoft is being unduly alarmist.  You can safely disable the message as follows:

In IE, click the Tools menu, Internet Options, the Advanced tab, and, under "Browsing," check "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)."  Click OK.
