To the
Class of 1958:
Thank
you for supporting our Fabulous 50th Reunion and making
it the best ever. The record breaking temperatures
dampened us but not our spirits - it was amazing.
We
were 225 strong - 53% of our living classmates, and the
highest percentage of any reunion class. We also topped
the record with 110 Durants. What a group! The
hospitality, opening Box Lunch, the parties and meals,
discussions groups, lectures, memorial service, creative
art display, Judy's video, the emotional Alumnae Parade,
etc. etc. - - it was all fabulous, but the best part was
being together. There were good vibes were just floating
around on those heat waves! In spite of the frantic
schedule, there was ample time to talk and renew our
Wellesley friendships - friendships like no others. Many
of you have commented on making new friends - classmates
who had barely known each other in college found they
shared many interests, and new connections were made.
This was everything we had hoped for in our 50th
Reunion.
It
was great because you made it so - thank you very much
to everyone! We sincerely missed those of you who were
not able to come - please come for our 55th in 2013.
An
important reminder/announcement. Judy Tower Reemstma,
our very own award-winning TV producer, produced a film
about our Wellesley class that was well received at
reunion. It includes pictures from our college years,
photos taken during the intervening years, and
interviews with many classmates which Judy filmed during
the last year. It is available on DVD, and I am sure
that any class member who missed reunion (we missed
you), or wasn't able to purchase it at the time, would
enjoy seeing it. It is available now for $25.00
including mailing.

you would like to have one of these videos or have any
questions, please contact C.Y.Mann Treene at

Best
regards to all,
